Welcome back for another video in on Game Master 5. A little over a week ago, I posted a brief introduction to Game Master 5 and now I’m back to show you how to create a new campaign from scratch. Creating a new campaign in Game Master 5 is not difficult. The app has an excellent user interface and it is very easy to use.
While Game Master 5 is easy to use, there are some things that can trip you up. The most common point of confusion for new users is the relationship between campaigns and adventures. It’s less about the app’s mechanics and more the user trying to figure out how to best insert their story into Game Master 5’s model. The same is true for deciding where to put NPCs, treasure, encounters, and notes. I don’t have any specific tips, but my Introduction to Game Master 5 video and this one, you should help.
