Welcome to the inner sanctum of the Yuan-Ti Temple battle map. The setting for the climactic final battle in a one-shot I’m getting ready to play-test. It is the final map in a series that includes both the Jungle Camp and Jungle Bridge battle maps I posted last month. I created the map with the Yuan-Ti in mind, but you can use it for any cult partial to ritual sacrifice.
In my adventure, the first room has a single guard and a pit full of snakes. Stealthy parties can take out the guard silently and creep to the door. There they can gasp in horror as they’re too late or realize they got there just in time. At the back of the temple is a spiral staircase to a lower level and a small locked room.
Given the assets used, the grid-less version really doesn’t look grid-less, but I have just in case.
Once again, I created this map with assets from the talented Ross McConnell at 2 Minute Tabletop. I used a number of different asset packs, but their Dungeon Room builder and passageways asset packs did most of the work. Check them out for high-quality battle maps, tokens, and map assets.
